Area description

Fox Bay Lodge offers several outstanding Salmon and Trout fishing, remote Ptarmigan wing shooting, and scenic wildlife viewing trips on the Naknek River, the surrounding streams and lakes located within the greater Bristol Bay and Katmai National Park area.

Property Description

Fox bay Lodge offers five individual cabins including one main lodge. All the cabins have full and private bathrooms, individual thermostats for heat (very important) and carpeted floors. Each cabin accommodates two people (sometimes 3) and is comfortably furnished with twin beds, chairs and a small dining table. The cabins access the main lodge by an elevated walkway across the creek. The main lodge has a cozy fireplace, television and telephone. Adjacent to the main room is the dining room where all meals and fish stories are served family style.

Fox Bay Lodge offers several outstanding Salmon and Trout fishing, remote Ptarmigan wing shooting, and scenic wildlife viewing trips on the Naknek River, the surrounding streams and lakes located within the greater Bristol Bay and Katmai National Park area.

This lodge provides a quiet, personal, home-style setting, including an unmatched 3 to 1 client/guide ratio. There are several different packages to choose from, or customize your own.

Included:  Pick up and drop off at the King Salmon Airport, three family style meals daily including table wine and beverages, all the equipment, Coast Guard licensed guides, boat use, lodging, flyouts on floatplanes (if specified) and processing, vacuum sealing and freezing fish. Rates include: All guides and boats, lodging, meals, a selection of appropriate flies & lures, one fish box for shipping your fish home, your fishing license, reels, fishing rods, tackle, wine with dinner and soft drinks, and one day fly out (weather permitting).

 

NOT INCLUDED:  Fishing licenses (may be purchased at Fox Bay Lodge).  Shipping of fish back home over and above the airline allotment is available in King Salmon. Hotel accommodations before or after the trip in Anchorage or King Salmon; Meals or guide charters for early arrival or late departure in King Salmon; Special charter of aircraft beyond our normal program;  waders, hip boots; Alcoholic beverages including beer (assorted soft drinks and mixes are provided); items of personal nature, film, laundry.

RATES are PER PERSON - land only.  Airfare is available to Anchorage, please inquire.  Parties are met in Anchorage.

-Other policies

Payments sent by client via  Fed Ex, ups, dhl or PayPal. No exceptions.  Currency exchange rates change daily and change upon final and initial deposits. In some areas/countries travel insurance is REQUIRED.  Personal Cell phone use is desired by rental owners, security deposit returns can take up to 60+ days when waiting for phone bill charges which you are responsible for.
