Shuttles and transportation to and from the river are not included in the trip price. Shuttle and lodging arrangements can be arranged. Air (Domestic and International) available to Medford, OR (MFR).
BRING: A medium size, flexible duffel bag- 3 changes of clothing- 1 set of rain gear- 1 coat or light jacket depending on trip time- Personal toilet articles- A hat, sunscreen and sunglasses- A camera- Please no waders- Any hard liquor that you may want; we furnish soda and bottled water- A fishing license and tag. Space for luggage in the boats is limited and the luggage must be carried between the river and the lodges by hand, so please pack as light as possible.
AREA: A 60 mile journey, experience a part of the world accessible only by boat. A variety of wildlife make their home along the River and may be viewed during your trip. Black Bear, Otter and Black Tail Deer are often seen. Great Blue Herons and Ospreys make frequent appearances and chances are good you will see an Eagle. Fishing the Rogue offers exciting opportunity whether you are a novice or an old pro. We specialize in fishing for the half pounder Steelhead that average 14 to 16 inches, but can range up to 22 to 24 inches (4 to 6 pounds). We also fish for Chinook and Coho Salmon when available. All fishing equipment and tackle is furnished unless you have a favorite of your own.

Drift boat trips begin the first of September and run into mid November, guided parties on the Rogue's Wild and Scenic section is limited by federal permit and are planned for parties of ten to twelve guests. Smaller groups are often combined. This trip should be booked well in advance to assure your desired dates. The drift boats we use are a comfortable way to navigate the river. They are specially designed for whitewater and carry two passengers each. All of our guides make a significant effort to provide our guests with personalized attention and care.
Stops mid-day where a picnic style shore lunch will be prepared. Dinner and breakfast are for hungry outdoor types in rustic lodges along the River with a variety of food, specific foods-- will try to accommodate when possible.
The three lodges are Marial, Clay Hill and Singing Springs, all comfortable with good food and running water. The first two lodges are run on generators, no blow dryers for hair. The last night is back to civilization with electricity and a pay phone.
First-aid equipment on board, specific medication or allergic reactions (i.e. BEES) be sure to inform us immediately.

No refunds if booked within 90 days of departure/arrival dates. Deposits are non-refundable. Travel insurance is strongly suggested. A waiver must be on file prior to sending funds to Guides and Lodge Owners.
A 50% deposit is due upon booking.
There is a $125 USD administration fee. All tourist taxes are to be paid on site. Due to the high incidences of fraud involving checks, cashier's checks and credit cards, we have changed our policy regarding funds. Clients are responsible for all currency exchange charges ($40 per wire transfers.)
Once the booking request is accepted by the owner, all funds MUST be received by wire transfer within 3 days of booking. There are no exceptions. Currency exchange rates change daily and may change between initial and final deposits. In some areas, owners or countries state travel insurance protection is REQUIRED. Personal cell phone use is desired and may not work in Canyon River areas. Guides and Lodges have satelite phones for emergencies.
Weather is cool to cold at night, layered clothing is wise. Waterproof light jackets and waterproof cameras.
